Have you heard of Senator Dodd’s financial reform bill yet?
Many people believe that over the last year Americans have faced the worst financial crises since the depression. As a result Senator Chris Dodd is recommending that the government step in and create a Consumer Financial Protection agency which would serve as a “watchdog” to watch over consumers to get clear and accurate information so that they can make an educated decision about mortgages, credit cards, insurance and other financial products. The goal? To bring to an end the predatory practices of hidden fees, deceptive practices and abusive terms that have hurt so many Americans over the past few years.

To keep the economy from crashing further the United Sates gave AIG Insurance $180 million dollars to bail them out back on September 16, 2008. We can’t change the fact that the US government has poured out hundreds of billions of dollars (which tax payers will have to pay back) into bailing out some of the big boys like Bank of America, Citigroup and also AIG Insurance. Fall is here and so that means its also deer mating season. Did you know that statistics show that more car/ deer accidents happen in the month of November then any other? So we need to really be on the lookout for deer in the early morning and at dusk. Now that day light savings time is here our days will be getting shorter and shorter.
