New Years Eve 2012 is upon us… the close of 2011 and the beginning of a new year.. new beginnings. If you are going out on the roads, for any reason, we hope that you please take these driving tips into consideration.
Going out for New Years? Here are some tips for staying safe on the roads:
- Plan for a designated driver.
- Make a plan to stay overnight at the location of your party. Or if you are the host, plan to have friends stay over. Whether they plan to or not, be ready.
- Use public transportation or call a cab. Have the numbers readily available or pre-programmed into your cell phone.
- You can also call AAA who is offering “Tipsy Tow”, free towing and a ride home between the hours of 6pm Saturday, December 31st – 6am on Sunday, January 1, 2012, whether you are a member or not. Call 800-222-4357.
- Celebrate without the alcohol.
